Slow News Week

Dad did the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge last Saturday and we all went to watch the stupidity. (Air temp: 32 degrees. Water temp: 36 degrees).

Great-Grandpa Joe was in visiting from Wisconsin and he got to witness the event also.

Snow Day!

We got a good dose of snow yesterday and Kacy enjoyed really being able to play in it for the first time. She found it quite hard to walk in it but really enjoyed rolling around and sticking her tongue out to catch snowflakes. Dad also taught her how to get some snow on her mittens and eat it like a snow cone--of course that was a big hit as well.

Dad broke out the whip cream to go with everyone's hot chocolate and of course had to be silly with it. Kacy loved when dad squirted the whip cream in her mouth so much, she tried to eat off what whip cream mom had smeared on his face....

Connecticut Playdate

We were in Connecticut visiting this weekend and Kacy had her first playdate with friends Bella Porco and Reilly McGovern. See the attempt to have a photo shoot with the three of them....

A Warm Winter Day Adventure

We decided to go with Grandma and Grandpa to Rocky Point Beach this past Sunday, since it was relatively warm (for January...)

Kacy, following in mom's footsteps, checked out the lifeguard chair. All she needs is a whistle. And since it's the beach and not a pool, one of those red lifesaving things that the Baywatwch girls used to run with.

Caleb came along for the adventure also.

Kacy hit the swings for the first time and really liked it...(obviously it got chillier the closer it got to dusk, hence the coat).

She also loved the slide...are we ready for the big time or what?

The Arizona vacation fun continues...Here is Kacy with her Aunt Lacey, and getting a bite to eat with GrandDan.

We went to daddy's mecca on Friday, Cabela's. While he drooled over fishing equipment and guns, Aunt Lacey, mom and Kacy hit the wildlife exhibit.

Kacy enjoyed flying once again...and really liked seeing all the airplanes. Here she is hanging out in a Delta Crown Room in Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.

Finally made it back home...and Kacy had a New Year's Eve slumber party with her friend Jack Mansolillo while the adults went out for a nice dinner.

The adults enjoyed some champagne at midnight back at the Mansolillo's house...Happy New Year!
