Memorial Day Weekend 2008

Kacy had a very busy Memorial Day weekend...and a lot of fun.

Playing on the Baltimore Yacht Club playground Saturday morning with her friend John Scot Wolfe...
Kacy wanted to push him...

And then she took her own turn.

Pretending to drive Grandpa's boat. She did manage to find the horn of course.

Saturday afternoon, Kacy had her friend Noah's first birthday party. She sort of enjoyed her first time in a moonbounce.

Kacy with the birthday boy, Noah, and her babysitter, Rabihah.

Giving the birthday boy a kiss, after much prodding from the adults.

Playing in her kiddie pool at home later Saturday.

Back to the club after dinner on Saturday. Here she is going in for a kiss with John Scot. He isn't so sure about that.

After brunch at the club on Sunday morning, Kacy played outside for a bit. They had the grass set up for the opening day ceremonies later on, and she enjoyed playing on the decorations.

Back at the club on Monday...with daddy in tow, back from Mike Maduri's bachelor party in Connecticut.

Finally, someone brave enough to take her in the chilly pool!

Check out that belly.

It was really warm on Monday so Kacy enjoyed playing in her kiddie pool again in the afternoon, post-nap. She hopes everyone had a great holiday weekend!

Back Home From Our Nomadic Travels

Finally home from our Connecticut galavant...And Daddy decided to style her (finally longer) hair...

"Hi, my name's Kacy and my parents have made me look like Little Einstein."

Later Sunday we went to the change of watch ceremony for the Sue Island Sail and Power Squadron, where Grandpa was inducted as part of the Bridge.

Looking at a rainbow with Daddy before bed.

FAO Schwartz

A bit out of sequence...back to Kacy's big NYC day. We took a break from working hard at the office to go next door to FAO Schwartz. Aunt Mary joined us (after her last final!) for Kacy's first trip to the toy mecca.

She was very impressed with the stuffed dino display.

Trying to make off with a stuffed monkey.

Kacy very much wanted a new baby doll...as they were everywhere on the 2nd floor.

The "nurse" let her hold a baby doll.

Again, trying to make off with the doll...
