"What that noise, Mommy?"
"Where we going, Mommy?"
"What are you doing, Mommy?"
She has gotten much better with her alphabet and counting, and can say more of each in a row on her own. Her favorite song to sing is still "Twinkle, Twinkle" (the words are more audible now, she had the tune before but now we can make out actual words) and her favorite song to be sung is, "You are my Sunshine", aka the Sunshine Song.
She loves shoes (Mommy's girl), whether they are her own, her cousin Katrina's (pictured); or Mommy's. She can get her socks and shoes off, and does a pretty good job of getting them back on on her own, and sometimes the shoes end up on the correct feet!
Her favorite meal is dessert, but "real food" faves include pasta, bananas, raisins and cheese.
TV is quickly becoming more interesting to her--she loves "Dora the Explorer", "Max and Ruby", "Sesame Street" and "Barney"--though we try to limit the amount of time we watch the latter due to the fact that the show still makes Mommy crazy, 13 years after the last time she watched it while babysitting.
Favorite activities include undressing her baby dolls (not a one in the house or in the cars has clothes on at the moment), swimming (as seen on the blog throughout the summer) and kicking a ball around. Bets around the house are that she'll be a soccer player. We shall see. After the Olympics and Baltimore's Michael Phelps' performance, we might be hightailing it to the North Baltimore Aquatic Center :)
For now, those are all the tidbits we have to share. We are off to spend a fun (and not too rainy) Labor Day weekend at Aunt Susie and Uncle Byron's house in Williamsburg, where Boots and GrandDan will fly in from Arizona to play too. Better get packing!
