Hot Fun in the April-Time

We experienced a bit of July in April this past weekend. It called for some time in Kacy's pool...

...and a trip to the zoo with her friend Jack.

A little game of ball to round out the weekend of 90+ degree temps. It's now back to normal but we are ready for summer weather, just not before the pool opens!

Kacy's Newest Friend--Another Wolfe!

Kacy's friend John Scot welcomed a little brother today! Grant Gorman Wolfe was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. He weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Kacy can't wait to meet him! Mom Amy and dad Dustin are doing well also.

PS Kacy has a lot of fans; her blog passed the 10,000 viewer mark this week. Thanks to everyone who checks in (or reads it as it comes up as a "note" on Facebook). She and her parents are very blessed to have such great friends, family and fans.

Finally...after much discussion about "Lila and 'Lexis", we made the journey out to Long Island to meet the Sheehan twins yesterday, after spending the other part of the weekend in Connecticut.

Easter Fun, Swimming and the Desert Botanical Garden

Backtracking a bit to Saturday...We enjoyed what is apparently a rare thing in the spring in the Valley--rain all day. They need it, so we were ok with it. Besides, we had no real plans to head outdoors that day anyway.

Great-Uncle Mike and Great-Aunt Ruthie came down from Prescott for lunch, and some birthday cake--joint celebration of Dave's on the 7th and GU Mike's on the 21st!

Easter morning, Kacy enjoyed finding the eggs that he hid for her.

She also got presents from the big bunny himself, including a fun Dora blanket. Great for camping out (in front of the TV).

Monday afternoon we visited the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, to see the Chihuly exhibit. Blown glass sculptures are incorporated in the desert landscape.

We had another great time in Arizona, Kacy did great on the flight home (thanks to our portable DVD player and a Dora movie) and everyone is back to their routine today. Thanks, Boots and GrandDan, for a great time!
