Weekend at the Club

Kacy had a busy Saturday, with two birthday parties to attend. Her friend Domenick had a pirate-themed party, and she loved her new bandana so much she had to wear it again on Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon, she helped her cousin Caleb celebrate his birthday at the yacht club.
Sunday afternoon,  Daddy and his fantasy football league had a picnic at the club. The kids and moms swam while the boys got down to "business". Kacy had fun hanging with her friends, including Jack Mansolillo and Cate Levine.
Waiting for the burgers to come off the grill, Kacy and John Scot Wolfe checked out the river.
Finally, time to eat some grub. Cate, Kacy, John Scot and Jack.

Midweek Fun

Uncle Matt turned the big 3-0 yesterday, and we celebrated at a family dinner on Wednesday night.
Cousin Caleb turns 8 today, so it was a joint party. Double the fun, double the cake.
As we all know, Kacy loves her some cake.
Last night we took a ride with Grandma and Grandpa down to Port Annapolis marina, to meet up with some BYC'ers who were there as part of their week's cruise.
10 days or less until Kacy is a big sister....stay tuned.

4th of July 2010

Kacy learned the art of laying out this holiday weekend.
Ready for some serious swimming on Saturday morning.
Grant taking a snooze poolside.
Little Miss 4th of July 2010
Waiting for the fireworks to start Saturday night.
Kacy and dad posing with our home for the weekend.
Kacy and John Scot get ready to hit the pool again on Sunday.
Daddy and Kacy got to take a ride on John Scot and Grant's grandfather's new jet ski. Kacy loved it.
We had beyond gorgeous weather over the weekend; thankfully this 100+ degree heat wave held off starting until yesterday. We hit 105 today, and will get close again tomorrow. Five months ago we were about to be smacked with a ton of snow...We'll take a few hot days in trade of that!
Kacy's baby brother will be here in 20 days or less. The countdown is on.

Welcoming Summer

Duty called and Kacy and mom had to make a quick trip to Connecticut this week. Kacy got to enjoy some ice cream at Dairy Queen Monday night.
Tuesday, we convinced our friend Liz to play hooky and we hung out at her mom's pool. Kacy enjoyed her own "private" pool--unheated spa.
Courtney and Alessandra took part in hooky day, also. Baby Luca splashed around a bit in the water with Kacy. She can't wait until he is big enough to really swim with her.
Yesterday, we were in Hartsdale, NY for our friend Madison Tiedt's 6th grade graduation.
Kacy got to take her first ride in a convertible--a BMW no less--with the Tiedt girls.

Father's Day Fun With The Camera

Kacy and daddy took some pics on Sunday. Kacy has recently learned that she can pick up our cat. And our cat has surprisingly been fairly cool with being manhandled by a 3 1/2 year old. We are sure it will turn ugly at some point but for now both are playing nice.

Rounding Out Spring 2010

Elle McLand and mommy Lisa came to visit on Tuesday. They hitched a ride from Buffalo to DC with dad, who had work meetings. Kacy was happy to finally meet Elle!
Friday, after dropping Grandma and Grandpa off on Kent Island to pick up their new boat (!), we stopped at Sandy Point State Beach to check out the action there.
Today, the Glaser clan came up from Herndon to hang out. Becca and Kacy donned their matching Dora hats (courtesy of their super cool friend Louie) before heading to the pool.
Baby Zack, though Dora-hatless, was cute nonetheless.
Summer starts Monday (for those of you not up on your solstice calendar); spring 2010 gets a thumbs up and hopefully summer is just as fun!

Happy Father's Day

Kacy wishes her daddy a very happy Father's Day!
Hugs also to Grandpa...

...and GranDan!
