Elie Osnoss

Kacy is very excited to welcome the newest friend to the gang, Eliana Osnoss...
She was born in New York City on April 21.
Mommy is Sarah and Daddy is Joe...and all three are doing great! Kacy hopes to meet her before they move across the pond to London in June.
If all else fails, she is boning up on her English accent for a visit over there soon!

Boats, Shrimp and Kites

We tagged along with Grandma and Grandpa on Friday, they hit the Bay Bridge Boat Show in Kent Narrows. We toured a $1 million+ boat...
...and checked out the helm of a possible contender for G&G.
The bed sure seemed comfy.
Taking a rest after going onto so many fun boats.
Sharing some cobbler (with plenty of whip cream and vanilla ice cream) with Grandpa.
Saturday night we stopped by the shrimp feast at the yacht club.
Yesterday we took a ride to Ocean City (mom and Kacy's first trip "downy ocean" to pick up daddy from his weekend football tourney out there. A kite festival was going on down at the piers so we got to check it out while daddy played his fifth (fifth!) and final game of the weekend. It was an overcast day, but at least the thunderstorms held off until we were home!

Boots & GranDan Visit

Kacy and daddy were ready Friday morning to head down to DC with Boots and GranDan, who had arrived the night before from Arizona.
Plan A was to see the cherry blossoms. Alas...the blossoms were gone Friday morning. Oh well. We stopped to smell the nearby flowers anyway.
Kacy taking in the WWII Memorial.
A horrible photo of Kacy, but standing in front of a "Rosie the Riveter" depiction, for her Mimi.
Taking a spin on the Carousel on the Mall before heading back north.
Sunday, we took Boots and GranDan for their first experience at a crab house. They were good sports and were schooled in the technique of picking crabs.
They headed home today, took one last picture with Ms. Kacy before heading to the airport.

Easter 2010

Good Friday was indeed a good day...weather was phenomenal!! We hit the park for some bubble-blowing and a picnic lunch.
Saturday morning, we crashed the Federal Hill Easter Egg Hunt with our friends the Moores.
Siena looks on longingly, she can't wait till she's big enough to hunt for her own eggs!
Saturday afternoon it was lunch with the Easter Bunny (he sure was making his way around town!) at the yacht club.
Lunch was followed, of course, by another hunt.
Kacy and John Scot, after going through their loot.
Easter morning...John Scot was ready to check out what the Easter Bunny had left for him.
As was Kacy!
Grant really wanted to try some Peeps...maybe next year!
Kacy and John Scot ate some for him...and for a mid-morning snack.
We had Easter dinner at the club. The weather once again did not disappoint!
Kacy and mom made some Easter sugar cookies for the weekend...here's some of the handiwork!!!
