Day Trip Across the Bay Bridge

Kacy and mom hitched a ride with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Mary yesterday across the Bay Bridge to Kent Island. We went to check out the latest contender on the Grandma-and-Grandpa-Grand-Boat-Search adventure.
Kacy's vote for a possible name for the possible new boat: Grandpa's New Future. We thought it was pretty good coming completely from her, but not sure it will make the short list. Beautiful weather, fun day!

Perfect Beach Day

The oppressive humidity cleared out yesterday morning, no better time to hit the beach. We know it won't last forever but we wish this weather would stay all summer!

Party Weekend

Kacy had a big party weekend. First up was her daycare friend RJ's 1st birthday bash on Saturday night. She of course picked butterfly when asked what she wanted her face to be painted as.
Sunday, we celebrated Abby Gehring's 2nd birthday...the gathering had a lot of Kacy's party-defining attributes. 1) Bubbles;
2) Fun games, in this instance, a roller coaster;
3) Cake;
4) And of course, party hats.
Abby's little sister Kate was into the hats, also.

Memorial Day 2010

John Scot and Grant Wolfe were ready to spend Memorial Day at the yacht club.
First order of business during Saturday's kid's carnival: break in the moon bounce.
Daddy volunteered to be in the dunking booth. Kacy attempted to knock him in the "real" way but then just pushed the button (with some help).
Kacy agreed to dress up as Uncle Sam for the talent show Saturday night. Here she poses with Commodore Dick in the "dressing room".
Kacy and counterpart John Scot waited for their big debut during the show.
On Sunday, Kacy, with cousins Caleb and Katrina, took part in the princess court during BYC's opening cermony.
Waiting for her stage call, Kacy cooled off with a mudslide. It was booze free.
Flower girl Kacy and her crown-bearing counterpart Braden made their big walk across the lawn.
Kacy hopes everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. She is very thankful for her daddy and all the other veterans out there.

OK...One More Beach Day

90+ degrees calls for one more beach tryst, or so Ms. Kacy and mom thought today. It was a hot one!

One More Beach Day

The weather once again came through on Saturday, so we hit the beach one more time before the pool at the yacht club opens next weekend. The Wolfe clan came to check out our new hangout.
Mom's friend Jean and her nephew Andrew also took a ride up to play in the sand.

Bring on Memorial Day weekend! We are well-primed for summer.
