FAO Schwartz

A bit out of sequence...back to Kacy's big NYC day. We took a break from working hard at the office to go next door to FAO Schwartz. Aunt Mary joined us (after her last final!) for Kacy's first trip to the toy mecca.

Playdate with Bella

We went to Fairfield on Saturday morning for a playdate with Bella Porco. She turns one today...Happy birthday, Bella!

Kacy had to check out the pictures Bella's mommy Sarah was taking to make sure she was getting her best side.

Big City Girl

Kacy visited mom's NYC showroom today...checked out the fall '08 collection and gave it a thumbs up...

...although Kacy seemed more enthused about the boot forms she found inside some of the tall boots.

Flower Girl Extraordinare

Kacy made her flower girl debut at Jacki and Fayrid Ladha's wedding in Sarasota, Florida this past Saturday.

A well-deserved binky break after making it all the way down the aisle with no problem, much to mom and dad's surprise. They were so nervous they didn't get one picture of the act...Though Aunt Liz promises she will send some that she took.

After all the guests cleared out, we recreated the big walk...well, coming the wrong way up the aisle.

Partying ensued after Aunt Lacey and Uncle Nate came to get Kacy for bed. Alessandra, Liz, Jacki, Courtney and Libby partied till they got kicked out.

Beach Baby

Back to the airport again on Friday...we took a flight to Tampa for the weekend. Kacy enjoyed riding on the airport tram.

Kacy found one of our waterproof cameras and showed off her photography prowess. Yes, the camera is upside down AND backwards...but A for effort.

Home after a busy morning of beach play.

Day 2: We hit the beach at Ana Maria Island on Sunday with Aunt Lacey, Uncle Nate, Great-Aunt Carol, Great-Uncle Sam and cousins Emily, Sydney, Ellie and Sam. Kacy enjoyed boogy-boarding for the first time.
