Our friends Mike and Michelle Tomlin flew all the way from Austin to celebrate, and Kacy loved her Dora bathtime toy that she got from them pre-party.

They then re-partnered to contemplate the Dora pinata and the plan of attack.
Plastic bats...that should do it!! (Mom thought a bunch of 2- and 3-year olds with anything harder was just asking for trouble.)
Eventually the pinata was compromised and the kids enjoyed the toys and goodies.

Sunday morning Kacy was very excited to open her gifts from her friends.
She loved her Backpack from Aunt Mary. It was definitely a Dora-themed birthday weekend. She got many great Dora-inspired gifts and loves them all.
A fun new winter hat from Uncle Matt, Caleb and Katrina.
Post-gift opening, Kacy put on her Longhorns outfit (from Mike and Michelle of course) and rested after a fun weekend. The celebrations continue as we count down to birthday #2 on the 11th. Stay tuned!
