What a Difference a Few Days Makes

Well, Monday morning we woke up to snow and by Friday night, we had shed our coats and gloves and were basking in spring-like 65 degree weather. Hopefully we've seen the last of winter.
Kacy ready for dinner up at the yacht club Friday night (yes the anchor shirt was intentional).

Giving the Sit n Spin a whirl.
Saturday afternoon we hung out with Amy and John Scot Wolfe. We did a bit of shopping then stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel.

Saturday night, the warm temps continued so, joined by Shelley and Jack Mansolillo, the kids hit the playground at BYC. We were anxiously awaiting the drunk bus (land cruise) containing the daddies and friends to return.

The boys mastering climbing.

Sunday morning Kacy thought she'd tool around for a bit in Grandma's DJP boots.

She needs to work on walking in heels, but all in all, not a bad try.

Snow Day!

Well the tallies are in and we think the general concensus is that our area got about 6 inches total overnight and through this morning. Thankfully the snow let up mid-morning and Kacy got to go out to play and help the adults shovel at lunch time.

Snowball!
We call this Kacy's Teletubby snowsuit.

Snow angel time.

Rosy-cheeked after working and playing hard outside.

Kacy's New Godsisters Are Here!

Kacy's godparents Liz and Kevin Sheehan welcomed their twin girls on Friday, February 27 on Long Island! Lila Grace came first, at 4:56 PM. She weighed 3 lbs, 8 oz.

Alexis Lynn soon followed, at 4:56 PM. She weighed 2 lbs, 11 3/4 oz.

Alexis taking a snooze.

Lila wide awake.
Welcome Sheehan girls!

Wild Weekend

Kacy was very excited to celebrate her friend John Scot Wolfe's 2nd birthday with him yesterday. She got into the cowboy theme of course.

Once they had changed into their official party duds, it was time to party.

Matt getting into the spirit.

Kacy getting a ride from Abby, who is practicing her walking skills.

Giddy up cowgirl. Kacy is getting anxious for her trip to Arizona on April, where trips to the ranch are definitely on the itinerary.

The fun continued last night with a ride out to Herndon, Virginia. Kacy and her friend Becca Glaser hung out and shared their love for Dora. The adults enjoyed a dinner party.

Kacy thought fun party hats were in order while watching a Dora episode with Becca.

This morning, her friend Jack Mansolillo came over for breakfast. They had a good time playing blocks...

...and Kacy played tea party with Aunt Shelley.

It's been quite a busy weekend. We were happy to have our friends Mike and Michelle Tomlin stop by on their trek back to Connecticut from Austin, Texas. They left this afternoon ahead of the snow that is expected up and down the east coast. Stay tuned for actual accumulation. This could be the first real snow we've seen this season...and it's happening on March 1? We are very ready for spring.
