Lacey and Nate Wedding Preview

Kacy and mom are in the process of getting ready to leave Florida and fly home to Baltimore this afternoon, after a very fun and exhausting week in Sarasota. But...Kacy knows that there are people who are dying for pics. Here is a sneak preview. More to come later this week. Mom will do the best she can.
Congrats Uncle Nate and Aunt Lacey! XOXO

Birthday Celebrations Continued

Kacy wore her ballerina best for dinner at the club on Friday night. (Mom wanted to take advantage of the 70 degree weather!!)

Getting ready for her trip to Florida on Tuesday.

The fiesta continues from last weekend.

Celebration #2--cake for Kacy with the Horne clan, since she will be on a plane on Tuesday. Grandma and Grandpa got her a fun Elmo cupcake cake.

Kacy loves her hand me down bear hat...it's backwards, but she does love it.

Kacy's 2nd Birthday Fiesta--Arriba!

Kacy getting her cowgirl on before her 2nd birthday party (a fiesta!) on Saturday evening.

Our friends Mike and Michelle Tomlin flew all the way from Austin to celebrate, and Kacy loved her Dora bathtime toy that she got from them pre-party.

Thanking Michelle for the Dora gift...

...and taking a picture with her cousins, Katrina and Caleb.

Jack would soon be in a fiesta mood, not to worry.

The kids getting some dinner (Kacy, her friend Drake and Katrina).

Shaking her maracas.

Dustin and mommy.

Aunt Mary and Abby Gehring.

Kacy's Dora fiesta cake, from Grandma and Grandpa.

Taking a taste.

Going in for the real deal.

Kacy and Drake playing with the fiesta shot glasses.

They then re-partnered to contemplate the Dora pinata and the plan of attack.

Plastic bats...that should do it!! (Mom thought a bunch of 2- and 3-year olds with anything harder was just asking for trouble.)

Eventually the pinata was compromised and the kids enjoyed the toys and goodies.

Kacy and Amy.

See? Jack got there.

Sunday morning Kacy was very excited to open her gifts from her friends.

She loved her Backpack from Aunt Mary. It was definitely a Dora-themed birthday weekend. She got many great Dora-inspired gifts and loves them all.

A fun new winter hat from Uncle Matt, Caleb and Katrina.

Post-gift opening, Kacy put on her Longhorns outfit (from Mike and Michelle of course) and rested after a fun weekend. The celebrations continue as we count down to birthday #2 on the 11th. Stay tuned!

Princess' Halloween Adventures

Kacy kicked off Halloween night with a party at her daycare.

Here she is hanging with her friend, Noah the dinosaur.

Waiting ever-so-patiently for cupcakes.

Yeah!!!

Out for a big night of trick-or-treating. This year Kacy can walk!

Checking out her loot when she got home.

Enjoying the fruits of her labor. Kacy hopes everyone had a fun Halloween!!
