Quiet Weekend

We had a very quiet weekend, a nice change for even a little bit. We hit the pool yesterday morning...

Then had a treat for lunch, Wendy's! Kacy likes to sit in her booster seat versus the high chair whenever she gets the chance. Certainly getting to be a big girl.

A Few of Kacy's Favorite Things

Favorite letter: W (seriously--she says it all the time.)

Favorite number: 2 (as in, how old are you going to be?)

Favorite phrase: "Don't do that" (sounds more like "Don't do dat" and is said with a very stern face.)

Favorite food: This week--string cheese.

Favorite activity: Coloring.

Kacy is getting very good at counting, can sometimes get to 5 or 6 with little or no prompting. She can say all the numbers up to 20 (some better than others, especially in the teens) with help.

A Visit to Washington, DC

Our friends Chris and Brooke Maduri came down from Connecticut to play for the weekend, and as they (and Kacy) had never been to DC, we took a 1/2 day and did The Mall. Kacy rode a train for the first time, the Metro.

Happy Birthday, Caleb

Caleb turned six on Wednesday and we celebrated last night. Kacy got into the spirit before the birthday boy arrived.

We got Caleb a golf set for his birthday and he hit some pretty good shots from the start. (Note Kacy in the back, coming to check out what everyone is doing.)

So Boots (Libby's mom) has been sending baby pics (and other family pics) to Maryland...Apparently she is looking to lighten her load. No worries.
