Our friends Mike and Michelle Tomlin were in town, and we went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, for their opening weekend. Mom opted to bring the "older" (ie smaller) digital camera but alas the battery was dead. Thankfully Michelle brought hers, and Mike sent some to mom yesterday.Kacy got a wreath to dress "like a princess" as there were many other little girls there running around in costume. However, she decided the wreath hurt and this was about as long as she had it on. She will do better hopefully with the wreath she has to wear next weekend in Aunt Liz and Uncle Kenny's wedding.
Of course a trip to Ren Fest wouldn't be complete without a pony ride.
Kacy rode an elephant for the first time (daddy's first time, too!) Lady Sussex obliged and took them for a spin around the ring.
Mom and Kacy are off to Virginia tonight for adventures with Boots and GrandDan at Susie and Byron's compound in Williamsburg. Stay tuned.
